There’s More Than One Use For A Bag Sealer

I use my bag sealer all the time, and there are a lot more uses for one than you might think. Of course, you can always throw your left overs and any other food items you want to save in your bag sealer. However, you can also use it as a super space saver as well.

I am a mother of three children, and when I take the family on a vacation, it’s pretty tough to get all of the things I need for a few days packed into the car. Well, did you know that if you get the right kind of bags, you can pack your clothes into about a third of the space? When you put the clothes in the bag and seal it up, the bag sealer takes all the air out of the bag and packs your clothes down into a much more space efficient little package. This past summer, when we went to Florida for a week, we were able to take twice the amount of provisions for the trip and it made it so much easier than it had been during trips in the past.

When you go out and get a bag sealer, I would highly recommend getting one that does a vacuum seal in addition to just a regular seal. The difference is that it sucks all of the air out of the bag, which for food will extend the shelf life even further and will allow you to do the packing trick that I shared with you above.
